The department develops and expands the traditional for the University activities performed by Audiovisual Centre, established in 1980. The main functions of the department are:

• to complete projects on audiovisual and multimedia educational products of all faculties;
• to provide suitable conditions for preservation and use of audiovisual and multimedia products;
• to develop and circulate information, advertisement and other audiovisual products of the University;
• to provide academic and social events of the University with technical equipment;
• to maintain audiovisual documentation of all significant University events;
• to maintain and repair all audiovisual equipment and complexes in the territory of the University.

The department has in its disposal:

• Audiovisual and multimedia studio;
• Photo laboratory;
• Media library;
• Repair-shop for audiovisual equipment;
• training and test laboratory for micro-education.

The department employs the following specialists: engineer,  technicians,  video studio supervisor,  photographer,  multimedia specialist.
