The department performs research, implementation and consultative activities in the area of education technologies that utilize contemporary information and communication technologies. These activities include:

• co-operation in the technological development of the university education of students;
• providing graduate, post-graduate and PhD students with access to contemporary information and communication technologies;
• assistance in the development and implementation of educational products;


• initiation and coordination of the participation in projects on educational programs;
• research on the efficiency of new developments in the area of education technologies and their promotion;

• initiation and assistance in the organization of academic events in the area of education technologies;
• information and consultative services within the University as well as to other organizations and individuals.

The department maintains a research and training laboratory. The organizational and research activities in the department are coordinated by a specialist-pedagogue.
